For those unfamiliar with Imperia, Borgo Marina is the first sailor district (in order of closeness to downtown), followed by Borgo Foce and Borgo Prino. It is the “mirror on the sea” of the Parasio, the charming and perched old town of Porto Maurizio.
The Borgo Marina Diving Center and the Bagni Spinnaker Beach Resort are waiting for you, to make you enjoy “the sea around Imperia in all its shades".
The Beach Resort (www.bagnispinnakerimperia.com) provides several accommodations. Equipped with many private dressing rooms along the perimeter of the beach, a public dressing room, a hot shower, a cold shower and sun beds, umbrellas and deckchairs, it offers the following:
-a fine sand beach, equipped with all comforts, which meets the needs of families with children. From the beach you can easily enter the sea and therefore it is the ideal place for inexperienced swimmers and for those who just want to stroll along the shore or play with kids on the foreshore;
-sun beds at the shore, strictly without umbrellas, for tan’s lovers;
-a large pier on the sea, equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, the quiet place for those who look for absolute relaxation;
-the terrace on the sea of the Beach Bar & Restaurant, recently renewed, where you can taste fresh meals, snacks, cocktails, ice cream and fresh fruit salads. The terrace is located right on the beach and it is very striking at sunset, when you will enjoy your relaxing “aperitivo” (typical Italian cocktail that you drink around 6.00 p.m.). However, if you love comfort, the beach-service is at your complete disposal all day long. The menu is that suggested by the Italian crops, with a special relevance to Liguria and Piedmont typical food products. Moreover, in the warmest summer months, the Beach Bar & Restaurant organizes dinners on the sea with fish specialties.
